nimrod located in 33.2° north of the equator,upon nimrod castel and at the foot of the Hermon mountain (2,224 m above sea level) .the climate characterized by hot and dry summers and cold rainy winters. The rainy season extends from October to early May. Nimrod area is The most cold place in israel(1115 m above the sea).the Average of annual rain is 850-950 mm. potential to snow falls in January by the middle of March. In the big part of all seasons of the year there is a fog by the nights.

There land is a peaceful rural area, three hours from Tel Aviv and only 45 minutes drive from Sea of Galilee - Lake Kinneret.

Tent Camping Nimrod Castle is unique campground privately owned by Guy & Lilach Ashtar. We have a camp site, for Tents, RV's and all size campers are welcome. Every site in the campground has a view of the Birkat Ram like and surrounded by the mountains. We are not a trailer park and we do not offer permanent sites for trailers on the premises. This ensures that you have the opportunity to get the best site in the campground Tent Camping Nimrod Castle is a full service campground. We have our own Restaurant, 24/7 on-site Manager, clean restrooms, and hot showers.There are plenty of activities in and around our campground.
